It would be interesting.
Rondo/Kobe/Young/Davis/Hill

Lip never flip flops does he? LOL
It's called being responsive to new information and basing opinions or predictions on the evidence. Some like Porkchop predict sunshine and still say the sun is shining when it's pouring rain. :)
Re: Best Potential Love Trades
Which of these would you prefer?
1. Love for a package including Wiggins and Bennett; or
2. Love for a package including Randle and Olynyk.

Re: Best Potential Love Trades
This three-way deal seems real to me. Flip likes Randle. I won't predict it happens, but I wouldn't be surprised. I would hope we at least get Boston's 2015 1st round pick unprotected.
Re: Best Potential Love Trades
Interesting idea, but not sure why the Celtics would trade Rondo and acquire Love. Either way, hopefully there is something to this and it gets Cleveland to step up.

Good points, Grey. But if reports are true about how badly Ainge wants Love, then it's not surprising. Like you, I hope this pushes the Cavs to step up.

Re: Best Potential Love Trades
I'm gonna take that guy's three-team rumor and make it work better.
MIN: J.Randle ($3M), K.Olynyk ($2.1M), 2015 BOS 1st, 2015 LAC 1st, 2016 BRK 1st, J.Anthony ($3.8M), S.Nash ($9.7M) = $18.6M (13.5M expiring)
LAL: M.Smart ($2.7M), K.Martin ($6.8M), B.Bass ($7M) = $16.5M
BOS: K.Love ($15.7M), J.Barea ($4.5M) = $20.2M
Who says no? Maybe the Lakers, but I still think it's good value for them. Getting rid of Nash's contract, acquiring a value scorer in Martin and a guy who Kobe could mentor at the guard spot. Think this is closer than Boston sending Rondo to LA.

That's actually not bad and we'd finally get Nash with Rubio. I'd be happy with something close to this if CLE or GS doesn't step up.

Re: Best Potential Love Trades
Just for the record, I do think Randle's an All-Star in waiting with the ability to carry a team.
Re: Best Potential Love Trades
A couple things stand out to me regarding the LA/Bos/Min trade:
1: LA holding out for Martin to be included. Sounds fishy, I can't believe Flip wouldn't jump at the chance to dump the last three years of his contract.
2. What does Boston have left after trading Rondo to entice Love to stay long term?
