Love says here he is coming back to the Cavs next year and he and Olynyk are good.

Thanks for posting, monster. As a guy who doesn't give Love credit for his personal behavior very often, I say "good for Kevin"! His initial reaction to the Olynyk incident was childish and very Kevin-like, but I like what he is saying here. I'm glad he reached out to Kelly, who clearly in not one of the NBA's thugs, and also glad he has backed off his foolish contention that Olynyk intentionally tried to hurt him.

As for his comment that he plans to play for Cleveland next year, I think that is the appropriate thing for him to say as his team prepares for the finals. I wonder if he understands that the Cavs might not necessarily want him back. Anyone watching the team can easily see that they played much better against Atlanta in the playoffs without Kevin than they did during the regular season with him. I don't think the Cavs are likely to offer Kevin the money he and his agent will be demanding, and I think some other team might overpay him based on the "Blatt didn't use him correctly" mantra. I don't think he will be in Cleveland next year. Regardless, kudos to Love for saying the right thing and not becoming a distraction as his team prepares for the warriors. Maybe Love is finally growing up a little.

Remember Love can opt in for another year and then be in line for the big payday.

Thanks for the correction, monster...I keep forgetting that. Yeah, that is clearly Kevin's best option. Doesn't mean he will go end up doing it though.

Problem is another year like this one and his value is going to go south.

In regards to K-Love, he has shown he can rebound and can shoot at an elite level but how much value does a poor defender have to playoff caliber team?

If you're Cleveland do you want to spend big money long term on Love? I think Thompson is a better fit for them than Love is. I still expect Love to bolt for LA.

Love said he left Minny because he wanted to win whether you believe that or not I would argue but if it's true you can't convince me any of these destinations are more likely to win than the Cavs. Heck they have gotten to the Finals without Love. Lol

Will or should the Cavs spend big money on Love? If he stays one more year they will be able to decide one way or another. Bosh didn't seem to have problems finding people to give him a ton of money last year. Love is gonna get paid plenty by someone.
