It sucks but I agree

I agree, Long. Disappointing, but it was the right decision.

Great effort by the Wolves. Wiggins was clearly fouled going to the hole at least 4 times tonight with no call. He and the Wolves deserved better from the officials tonight.

You honestly think he would be performing at the same level he is here in Minny? I saw him play for the Bucks and he was one of the most disinteresed players I had ever seen, same thing would have happened with him here. Carlise brings out the best in his players and knows how to get them involved with great teamwork.

Yeah, Monta works because of Carlisle, Dirk, and Tyson. He's a guy that takes a lot of shots and doesn't do much else. He definitely can put pressure on a defense, but he would be a classic "doesn't work out in Minnesota" type of guy.

Tyson Chandler is the guy that makes that team tick. He anchors their defense and is super efficient on offense rolling to the hoop. Obviously Dirk gets is a HOFer, but TC is a pillar of strength in the middle.

When will this team decide they can bring out the best in guys?

Hell, look at JJ. He never did that here. A culture change here is long overdue.

A few thoughts on tonight's tilt:

- Even a rusty Rubio is 10X better than any PG we have. He threw some bad passes and rushed a couple of shots, but still....he's a game-changing talent. That wrap-around pass to Young was absolutely sick. There are only a handful of guys in the history of the league capable of making that pass. Seriously.

- Pekovic is a vastly better defender than Dieng. It absolutely pains me to say it, as I was a guy touting Dieng's defensive talents coming out of college, but these last few games with Pek back in the mix have really shown the contrast. It's not that Pek is a great defender, it's just that Dieng is so bad about leaving his feet, opening up the lane too much, getting pushed out too easily. He gets a sexy block or steal every once in a while, but there are so many other things that suffer when he's playing Center. Makes me sad, as I was in denial for a long time about it.

- Loved how our defensive intensity picked up a notch in that 4th quarter. I think Rubio set the tone and other guys picked up on it. Good to see for a change.

- Young played a great game. His trade value goes up with games like this one!

- We are still outgunned too often from beyond the arc. We really need to hope Wiggins and Shabazz develop that shot as a major part of their arsenal over the coming years. We can't win many games going 3-13 beyond the arc. And Kevin Martin won't be with us forever.

I think JJ was going to have a better year here. He proved it in training camp. The way things worked out with Rubio getting hurt it would have been interesting to see. I would have loved to see Adrian and Pek play together. I think we need to trade Williams, Young, and Martin. They will keep us from developing our future.

You mean go 4-14 from the floor? I thought he did that a lot here.
