Because the Wolves point guard play consisted of rookie Leandro Bolmaro and an overmatched Jordan McLaughlin.

Minnesota desperately needed at least one of D'Angelo Russell or Patrick Beverley tonight. The offense and defense lacked structure, competence, and communication. In short, the game was sloppy and disorganized because Minnesota missed their floor general(s).

This is why I went fairly low on my wins prediction, since a fully healthy roster appears to be a .500-ish club based on the results last year and early this year. This team doesn't have the depth (IMO) to withstand injuries in the same way others teams do. Leo is going to get some wide open 3's tonight. We'll see if he is willing/able to take and make them because I have to believe the Hawks will be bringing extra guys at KAT and Ant.

I think that's what we were all afraid of coming into this season, and our injury luck compared to our opponents seems to have turned. To Q's point, this team has the potential to be a .500 club if they could stay healthy, but we all know that isn't going to happen.

Hats off to one of our wounded warriors tonight though, Karl Towns. He didn't look like he should have been out there, but he still put up 31-16-6 with an uncharacteristic ZERO turnovers. Gritty game for KAT.

So now Lea I guess he prefers that to Leo) is hurt too, although he didn't provide anything on the offensive end of the court tonight. We need PatBev and DLo to get healthy and stay healthy...otherwise this looks like a 30-win season.

Edit: one last thing. I hope some of you gamblers jumped on Atlanta actually getting points against a team without a true healthy PG...worst line of the year, and free money!
