Leandro Bolmaro's defense is real.

Beasley had 3 looks at the end. Just couldn't knock them down

Yes. So is his playmaking. And his shooting isn't bad.

I wish the Wolves would have toyed with a Russell, Edwards, Prince, McDaniels, Towns lineup because I think that could be one of the better five man units this team can put on the court together. They tried it with Beasley instead of Prince but I think Prince plays better with those four than him.

Not seeing enough ball movement for my liking. Too much 1 on 1 on offense. We have real talent now. Time to move the rock and get easier baskets. Decent preseason though, bring on the real games. Anybody else looking forward to Tuesday night's ring ceremony like I am?

I'm happy.

The Nets have an outrageous wealth of talent. We are going to lose games this year, but the product will be fun to watch in those losses. And I'm happy with the 45 games prediction!

I agree, Cool. I thought the Wolves offense lacked enough ball movement tonight. But as you noted, it was a good preseason for the Wolves.

Well, fun atmosphere as usual. It was a preseason game, but honestly, it felt like everyone at some point forgot that and it became a real game, which was cool.

We definitely played harder than they did and in the end, the three point shooting did the Wolves in tonight. I wish we would just find the best three point shooter without a job and use a two way every year on him until one emerges.

This team has real good potential to have a bunch of 80+% free throw shooters. We just need to actually get to the line.

Tonight woulda been a good night to see McKinley Wright, especially since this team needed ballhandlers. Nowell halted his dribble too much so it led to a lot of bail out passes that led to nothing.

The Nets' shooting in general compared to ours is stark. Too many shots that went up that you knew had no chance of going in.

Bolmaro trying to dribble is frightening. He knows who to pass to, but he can't create against good teams. Also needs to hit up the weight room big time.

McDaniels is a major disruptive force on defense but he doesn't know what to do on offense. The team didn't have a free flowing offense which I hope is something that gets fixed once Russell is playing.

Finished this game just now

I'm this game Claxton looks like a great compliment for the group the Nets have. Lip was a fan of his in that draft but he is playing a different role than what I think Lip envisioned when he was high on him.

Prince has looked good in preseason. I think if the Wolves have to go without an actual PG in the 2nd unit they would benefit from him being out there. If Prince plays like he has these preseason games we got a pretty nice player. Layman also looked good in his minutes. A team could do much worse for the last guy on the roster.

Vanderbilt is still raw but I love what he can bring. If he can smooth out his game more he can be even more valuable. His FT line shot looks smoother.

Edwards D definitely looks better.
Nowell is a better defender than Beasley although Beasley had that really nice block and tries I would take Nowell as a defender easily. Beasley finally got going but Nowell has looked solid at the very least.

I don't think Towns is firing on all cylinders yet and that doesn't worry me but if/when he does it will be fun.
