They got 1.2 billion dollar tv deal which helps. It's why dodgers and Yankees can spend so much. There tv contracts are crazy high.

That's so crazy. When I watched baseball in the 90's they had Tony Gywnn and then for 20 years the only Padre I remember is Trevor Hoffman.

Adrian Gonzalez, Jake Peavy, Brian Giles, Chase Headley... They've had a number of pretty good ball players, but the group they have right now is definitely different. They're an elite baseball team on paper. I love what they've done the last couple years.

Anyone have an idea as to why Ricky Rubio has these games where he's able to score the basketball pretty well, but then eventually reverts back into missing everything? It doesn't make any sense to me.
