Specifically about Jake Layman:
Layman's not quite the shooter Chase Budinger was, but that's exactly the player he reminds me of. Surprise bunnies with good awareness and size. Very active off-ball. Hopefully Layman's shot improves and he stays healthier than Bud did while he was in Minnesota.

Who are these shooters you speak of besides Covington?
I guess my comment of "shooters" is relative to what the wolves have been playing next to Kat the last two years, mainly Gorgui and Taj. I'm anxious to see him surrounded by more versatile offensive players at that positions. And I'd say Cov and Leyman would be that compared to those two. They will definitely offer more spacing on the floor. I don't think it's out the the question to think Leyman can improve to 36-38%
