These are the last comments I will ever make regarding Andrew Wiggins on this board. I see pitchfork nation is already on his ass after one frickin preseason game. Never mind that he led the team in plus minus and played really good defense resulting in multiple steals. He looks so much bigger, he really looks like his Dad when he played. One thing i know for a fact, Andrew Wiggins is not slow. In fact, the opposite is true.
His merits have been debated ad nauseum on this board forever. There is no reason for me to rehash what has been said 1000 times. I'm going to enjoy watching him become a great player on what i hope is a great team. I'll be happy to post on all topics Timberwolves except this one. Have at it boys.

I get your frustration Cool. I'm hoping if you find yourself wanting to say something about Wiggins on this forum you will do it. I appreciate your insight.

Thanks Monster, there are a hundred things we can talk about. But I've said all I can say on Andrew.

2 seasons ago, a lot of guys here wanted to trade wiggins after the first 15 games of the season. Last year, same thing after the first week of the regular season. I said it then, that at that rate, guys here will be looking to dump wiggins after the first 3 pre season game. 1 pre season game so far and we are on the verge of another anti wiggins thread.
I can totally see where cool is coming from.

He's about ready to sign a max deal. Expectations are high and his three year track record is mixed at best. And as someone that doggedly defended Rubio for many years, I know what it's like to be on the other end of it.
After months without a game, of course folks are going to dissect things in a somewhat knee-jerk fashion. That's what we do here. I barely watched any of the game, as I think these pre-season games are pretty worthless other than trying to get a peek into Thibs' rotations. Wigs definitely looks a little bigger though, that I agree with.

Thanks for posting the link. As a recent cable cutter I am wondering how I am going to be able to watch games. I have heard complaints about league pass. Anyone have suggestion on options for watching Wolves games without cable.

Logo, I have done League Pass Broadband for years now and it works fine for the most part. It has a pause/DVR-like function that allows you to start and stop the game as you watch it. It also archives every game within an hour or two after completion so that you can watch it later if you miss it. It also has a condensed version that you can re-watch in 20 or 30 minutes. It basically has every feature you would normally have with a cable DVR box.
The one big problem is that any game televised on NBA TV, ESPN, or TNT is blacked out on LP Broadband and only archived no sooner than 3 hours after the game ends. As a result, I also have the Sling TV $20/month package, which includes ESPN and TNT (but not NBA TV).
These costs do start to add up a bit, but the nice thing about Sling is that they make it VERY easy to subscribe and unsubscribe, so I basically get rid of Sling in the spring after the Finals and then sign up for it again in October.

Q covered it well here. I have been a subscriber to league pass broadband for a number of years. Last year's experience was the best by far. In the past if the game was on ESPN or TNT or blacked out etc you had to watch it live and they weren't available later. Now those games are achieved so you can watch them. I've had my grumblings about the service in the past with the player being ok at best and sole other glitches. If you want to be able to watch all the games it's worth the money. Also I like having it because I can watch the games later. Alot of the time I can't watch it live. They usually have a free trial period at the beginning of the season.
Sling TV is a nice subscription to have especially around the NCAA tourney or the NBA playoffs. You can always do a free trial as well.
