I wonder if we trade him if someone wants him and we get the right return just knowing that we can replace him in this draft.

The question is why would another team trade for a 22 year old Dunn with his current weaknesses rather than just draft a better player if they're really available? That and I hope Dunn isn't the guy who gets moved, Rubio is what he is, there is no more P word left with him, time to move on if the right opportunity presents itself.

SP- You are right. Dunn has the making of a good combo bench guy and will be cheap for a few years.

This thread should be getting busier by the game now.

I hope so. As a Wolves fan it is easily my most enjoyable discussion.

We currently have the 3rd worst record. I'm hoping for a top two pick because the only two guys I want are Fultz and Lonzo Ball.

If we land either of those guys this team is going to make a huge leap next year. It will trump the MarburyKG tandem. Serious destiny.

I've heard that before!

Rookies - especially ones with only one year of college ball - rarely end up being net plus contributors to their team in Year 1. KAT had one of the better rookie seasons in 20 years last year, but defensively he struggled a lot (and still does).

I don't know....I get the value of guys on rookie deals, but man, am I tired of constantly putting our hopes into the draft. It's let us down so many times, and even when it does yield a good player, there are massive growing pains associated with it.

I'm sure it's already been stated (too lazy to check)...

But I'm all in for trading the pick for a veteran leader. Or, keeping the pick and trading one of the "Big 3" for a veteran leader. More youth and more promise is not the answer.

These guys have to learn how to play... by others on the court... not just the loud, doughy guy yelling from the sidelines. It's not working.

I just think those guys would be a huge upgrade for us at PG from the second they stepped on the court.

I still think this team would need to near All-Star level vet to push this team over the top. Some one who has been there. Kind of like how AI did that for Golden State.

The problem is that those guys are gonna stay away from this team since the Wolves look so far away and seemingly have a young starter at every position.
