Nice to see our squad play so well knowing we still have this guy in our back pocket! If only KBD looked a little better in the G-League....

Not everybody needs to play early on. At least he's playing in G-League getting some games under his belt instead of rotting on the big league club.

Agreed, this is exactly how the G-League should be utilized. I just wish he was a bit more efficient/productive down there, but it's very early and he's a guy we can afford to wait on.

Damnit. Was planning to watch this one later but the wife just DVR'd the pre-game show. I'll record the late replay and watch. Okogie was unleashed!! About time, play him with Covington in a small ball lineup, please Tibby!!!

If our defense keeps up, i think taylor has to keep thibs past this season.

Dont get me wrong, cov has been a godsend, but one player cant transform this team on his own. There is something else going on.

I just want to say I love this team right now. Playing as a team. It just works.

Feels like we are playing for each other. Kat and RoCo are like best friends now. I didn't know that they are workout partners in the offseason.

Rose is legit playing like an all star and favorite for 6th man of the year. And he is on a minimum contract.

Wiggins offense has been real bad but he is staying engaged defensively from what I can see.

Looks like we have something in Okogie.

We have 11 guys who can legit play in this league. Are we a championship caliber team. Nope, but we are fun and it seems like Kat is taking the next step. What he huge.

Seriously Covington at this point is the actual manna from heaven. This guy has changed everything about this team. Honestly i am so amazed at how great he is. His defense is just simply incredible and his infectious personality. He is literally my favorite player on the wolves already. All on a bargain contract. We totally screwed the 76ers. I was in doubt cause i didnt think saric was so great and hes solid and works real well with the team but I never thought covington was this great. I actually think if our defense plays like this we could go on a run in the playoffs. I really hope we are able to keep rose after this season. He has been sensational. What a roller coaster.

Damn i love roco.

What I loved most about KATs play tonight, is that he was upright. He wasnt block happy, but had his hands up and walled up. The Spurs would get into the paint and see a KAT wall, then the happy hands of Covington, Wiggs, and Teague did the rest. Absolutely thrilled with how active our hands were this game.

We've come a long ways since that melt down of yours a few weeks ago (and a well justified one at that!). Way to hang in there!

I think Covington was the big domino that needed to fall, then everything else has since fallen into place. Now suddenly all of Thibs' pleadings are being adhered to. I was really impressed with the rotations off of double teams. They simply could not get an uncontested look.

I saw wiggs covering dd and going to help kat on aldridge in the post a few times. He looked a little unsure of the timing, but recovered well enough not to get burned. Rose also did the spying, but he was also unsure of the timing and gave up some wide open looks.

Its a new wrinkle for thibs, this switching and doubling. I like it because he forces us to be constantly moving.

I know! I keep asking myself "why not bump Wiggins from the rotation and put Okogie in his place?" It seems like there must be some sort of reason for not doing it, but it sure is fun to think about...

1. A PR disaster... considering Wiggins is just beginning his max deal.
2. Has Wiggins shown he is a strong-minded player? Nope. So what would that do to his psyche?

I see a mysterious ailment shutting Wiggins down for awhile. The Wolves might want to see how this team plays without him for a spell?

The rub is... what kind(s) of draft picks would the Wolves have to throw in to get off that contract right now? He might be as untradable for the Wolves as John Wall is for the Wizards.
