Not a good excuse for me. Go up aggressively, dunk the ball (finish the play) and you can hang on the rim long enough to find a place to dismount.

I'd argue him going up soft almost hurt himself and Hardaway. Not to mention blowing the layup.

He's had a decent game thus far, but little shit like that irk me. With his athleticism and length, it doesn't require much to dunk and it's far more efficient than a finger roll.
