Tolliver playing the 3 isn't a proper lineup. Tibs wouldn't understand that.

Bench laughing at Okogie after that last foul.

Teague had a great game, but that drop coverage gave him some wide open looks that even he couldn't pass up. When teams play a more agressive PnR defense against him is when we see endless dribbling and indecisiveness.

Great point and observation.

I just don't get how a guy like Okogie makes 38% of his 3's in college, around an 80%-ish FT shooter, then he puts on a Wolves uniform and can't hit the god damn broad side of a barn. Just classic Wolves!
(nice win though).

At least he's looking for a play. He's by far the best point we have on the roster. His only ineffective sets seem to be when he's trading in the two guard lineups with Tyus or Rose. He's had a down shooting year but he's a good PG. Glad to see him have a great game.

He's the best PG on the roster in terms of his total body of work and skills, but he hasn't developed any meaningful chemistry with KAT, our most talented player. So when those two are on the floor it's sort of a sum of individual parts vs. a synergistic pairing. I don't know whose fault that is or why, but it just is.
And finally, Teague hasn't modernized his game. He's a good enough 3-point shooter to look more for that shot and up his volume, but he refuses to take it unless he has a ton of space. Again, is that soemwhat on Thibs or is it all Teague? IDK, but it's a problem.

KATs been an all star and part of a top 10 offense with Teague as his PG. Teague is also the main guy who is vocal for Thibs to expand the sets for KAT. I think saying there's no meaningful chemistry is a bit strange.
I like that Teague's not a gunner, he usually looks for his own shot in the flow of the game. More just need to go in this year. I don't think he's a perfect match for Thibs though. Teague is still much of the player he was before coming here, a solid to good middle tier pg. We looked a hell of a lot better with him tonight than the games we were without him.

You nailed it, Q! I put a lot of it on Thibs. Teague isn't dumb or selfish. A better coach would push Teague to adjust to his game.
