So thibs expects Dunn to take over after 20 games? Really? I'm pretty sure he never implied that Adrian.

Not sure how we can even think about trading Ricky at this point. But these rumors persist for a reason. I sure as hell don't want to see the keys get handed over to Dunn anytime soon.

OMG it isn't even close between these two. Dunn looks flat out lost out there. I'm sorry, but my eyes tell me this is going to be more than a 20-game baptism for Dunn. I think he can get there eventually, but he has a loooooong ways to go.
If I'm Thibs, I do not eff around with that first unit. They absolutely dismantled Memphis tonight and they were without Wiggins. Rubio handed KAT about 10 trips to the line it seems like!

Unless I misread the article that I read twice it seemed Woj's info came from league sources not from Thibs or Layden. It's obvious the Kings are highly interested in Rubio and probably some other teams are as well. What would a team like the Kings have to give up? Like the article said someone has to offer a legit package not some offer that's maybe better than trying to just take Rubio off the Wolves hands. that's what I think anyway. :p

Sacramento wants a PG.
They don't have a problem with THAT type of PG. (see Rondo)
Sacramento is an inept organization that's been fleeced before... and are the pursuers here... indicating they really dig Rubio.
But as noted... what/who do they have to give up?
And, is Dunn ready? I know I'll miss Rubio a lot. I just don't know whether he's the long-term best answer for this squad or not. Right now... yes. I think he is.

I don't get why we should want to even keep John Lucas III. He is an old guy and he is not a positive contributor. Lets keep that spot open for when someone like Ben Bentil gets cut. I also posted that we should have signed Vince Hunter last year when we had the open spot and he was available. He has played well in preseason games and was +31 for Memphis tonight and I'd take him over Payne any day if he becomes available again.

Bentil and Shabazz on the court at the same time would be funny.
And really bad selfish basketball.

Keep in mind I've not seen a second of preseason (though I have checked box scores), but I don't understand how anyone can suggest that it's unlikely to trade Tyus given our current roster. I like Tyus, particularly I like what he can potentially offer offensively, but right now he's a #3 PG, he offers no defensive presence, and with him, Ricky, and Dunn, we're flooded with young PGs anyway. Combine that with the fact that our new head coach is a defensive minded guy...
I completely buy it.
