Guys that have fumble-itis, and simple can't dribble or shoot. This guy has no business in the NBA. Was a feel-good story at beginning of the year, but I have seen enough. Not NBA caliber....and it really isn't even close. He is almost a guarenteed turnover when he touches the ball.
Its his first year in the league... and the guy was Euroleague MVP. Lets give him at least 2 years before we know what we got. We've given much worse players longer looks.
Don't know if a guy who'll be 28 at the end of the season gets that much leeway in today's game.
Sometimes, I like what I see. But I don't know if he's just overthinking things or what... other times it's just so ugly. Today, he passed up a wide open 3... only to drive and turn it over trying to create something else.
The play was already created! He had an open shot. He has to take that shot.

Actually, if Rubio is going for Sidney Lowe for coaching tips first... that might be more of an indictment on Rubio more than anything else.

First Roy, then Aldridge, and now Lillard. None of those three are or were super-duper-stars (although Roy was close for a season or two), but credit the front office with surrounding them with solid supporting talent and decent coaching.
Look at the current Portland roster. Pretty much all of their major pieces have 4 or fewer years of NBA experience, similar to us, yet they beat us every. single. time.
We can argue that our roster has more upside to it and that might very well be true. But I've heard that a lot in the past decade and it never seems to come to fruition.
Sigh.
Remember when there was a burgeoning rivalry between the Wolves and Blazers? We were supposed to be on the same trajectories?
I guarantee some even thought Minnesota had more potential.
[Note: Minnesota Timberwolves... worst franchise in modern NBA history.]

It's truly embarrassing at this point. We did have that one .500 year with Love a couple years ago and everybody healthy, but other than that, it's been the valley of death for 10 years now. Yeesh. Year after year of this.

Remember... even that 40 - 42 team was considered to be a disappointment.
