Pek will come back rusty as hell, missing easy bunnies. And people will be calling for his head. It will last a good few weeks after that he will look good but it may not last long as he may injure himself again.

Yep, pretty much. Hopefully he can give us 15-20 a game so the big kat can rest. Not sure where that will leave Gieng, I'd still like him getting minutes too.

I agree. I am in the camp that he might be better off playing less nights with more minutes per night then a few minutes each night. I think whatever the case is he needs to be ramped up slowly and he will have some rust when he gets in the game. I think we will see him before the end of the month without set backs at this pace.

Have we seen any alley oops yet this year? This team should have 5 a game with our athletes. The last one I saw was the Milwaukee preseason game, any last game?

No but in the last game I think a couple guys blew dunks. Sometimes I would rather have some sure points than style points. Wiggins back issues may have cut down a little of the highlights too.

Another consideration is that Mitchell said they want to get it and run but they struggle as a rebounding team so they have to keep more guys back to rebound AND still try to run. That limits the oop opportunities somewhat. They have gotten out into transition though and are clearly looking to push it based on my eye. I just looked and they are #13th in possessions per game right now but that's like 3 possessions more than any team averaged last year so most teams are getting up and down the floor right now. It will be interesting to see if they can push it at a pretty good rate this season. I think most people thinks it's a good idea and I am happy Sam thinks so too.

We struggle rebounding the ball and getting transition points... Maybe Sam should play Muhammad and Dieng more and kill two birds with one stone. Prince and Garnett hinder the Wolves in both aspects.

A rubio, Wiggins, shabazz, dieng, and Towns lineup has all the length Sam talks about and about as perfect a mix of offense and defense as you can get. It actually makes a lot of sense for both of our units as a LaVine, Martin, Prince, Bjelica, and Garnett 2nd unit would be much more rounded than what Sam currently rolls out off the bench.

KG has been rebounding at a higher rate than Dieng and I wouldn't be surprised to see that continue. Bazz is good on the offensive glass but he isn't quite as much of an impact on the defensive glass. He is a major factor getting out in transition though. Also if that lineup doesn't get stops you won't have to worry about getting the rebound and running. Lol
