I've been holding back my win prediction because I want/need to see a pre-season game first. That probably goes against the grain of this thread since it's probably supposed to be done before any games are played, but if I threw out a number it'd be an "unconfident" one.

43 wins. I have to assume its not possible we have injury problems even close to last year especially since we wont go in tank mode. Id like to assume we will have a Better team defense with towns, kg for an off season and full season, another year under the belt for shabazz, dieng, Wiggins, lavine, and Payne, and Ricky for most of the season. We should also have a better offense with a push for more 3 pt shooting and, again, another year under those young guys belts. We may have been a 16 win team, but that's not what we really are. We'll be the underdog that takes a lot of teams off guard early this year. Let's go! We're coming!

Oh please, you lacking confidence!?! I'm sure you can summon up enough courage to throw out a prediction before one measly pre-season game!

25 - 57.

[Note: Originally, I guessed 27 wins... before I saw what everybody else guessed. Last season, Q underbid me by 1 win... and beat me by 1 win dammit. I can't let that happen again. So, I thought about going the Price is Right style and going with 1 win total. But that's not realistic, so I opted to simply edge him by 1 this season. 25 it is.]

Abe, Given Mitchell's clear message around development and keeping the kids in during crunch time, I think those of us that guessed under 30 have a very good shot at "winning", if you can even call it that. I was debating between 25 and 26 myself.....

Sigh. I get what the franchise is doing, but damn, it's been a long, desolate journey and it isn't ending anytime soon.

36 - 46. I think we will push for playoffs, but hit a wall in march.

Abe has to be the anti-tim. Way to be consistent with your realism. I hope you're wrong about this one this year.

I got 31 wins. Problem is that there is just too many good teams in the West. And a lot of them have already developed chemistry. The Wolves don't have that quite yet. If you stay close with the good teams, can you beat guys like Harden, Curry, Dirk, Paul, ect. Plus you have to go up against really good coaching pretty much on every team. Whose the worst coach right now in the West? Probably Scott with the Lakers, but then maybe George Karl? That's a big task for Mitchell, whose not really an X's and O's guy.

So do I...

So do I...

[Note: I'll be happy to admit I was wrong about LaVine if all the glowing reports and predictions come true. I'll wait to see him on the court though. I know this year will be an uneven one as he still learns (along with Towns and Wiggins) how to play in the NBA, hopefully, we see signs that his skills are legit and he has the on-court savvy to become a very good and consistent player.]
