If Flynn isn't a bust then nobodys a bust!

I consider a guy a bust when he doesn't reach his floor. Flynn had already done that in his rookie year. Getting a career threatening injury doesn't make a guy a bust imo.

So Sam Bowie wasn't a bust?

Bowie already had significant injury concerns when he was drafted. I think it was a poor pick.

Johnny Flynn is the definition of a bust.

Maybe, but Jonny Flynn was performing exactly as most had expected until he sustained a freak hip injury, that no player in the NBA has ever fully recovered from to the best of my knowledge. I know it is convenient to pile on Kahn with that statement, but I feel it isn't accurate.

I could buy it if he was still on a bench somewhere like bassy. Other players have come back from worse injuries

I don't agree that he was performing well before the injury. He was obviously flawed from the start.

Flynn was a bust just like Oden was a bust. Injury or not, you are a bust if you are out of the league before your rookie deal is up. I know Oden has been hanging around, but his comeback has not really been much of a comeback in my eyes.

Give me one guy that came back from that hip injury. I can give you one that didn't, his name is Bo Jackson.
