Wiggins, Bennett, Lavine and Dieng all being fed by Rubio!! The most exciting part of that potential group is finally getting to see what Rubio can do when set free to create like he was born to do with players athletic enough to capitalize!! Then there is the defensive potential in that group, they wouldn't be just another high flying offensive juggernaut that has to outscore every opponent.
I know the P word can bite you, but there would be no other Wolves team in their history with as much star potential as this one!

Maybe he gets 2 picks from CLE and flips one of our current wings for Gibson? That would be legit!
Why would Chicago just give up the backup that will play alot even before Gasol and Noah miss their decent chunk of game you can bank on them missing? Thats not going to happen.
Because they need an upgrade at the wings, plus Chicago could use more scoring. I propose a Martin for Gibson swap. They roll out a lineup of Rose-Martin-Butler-Gasol-Noah with Hinrich, Snell, McDermott, Mirotic off the bench. Keeps them balanced offensively and defensively while saving about $1.2M a year.
Like I already said, Gibson's a fan favorite and Thibs loves him so I doubt this gets done, but I do believe it makes a lot of sense for both teams involved.

I hope that we do the rumored martin/bud for gordon that has been rumored. That will trim down our wing rotation and open a rosterspot.
Like khan mentioned. I wont mind starting the season with wiggins/ dieng/ pek/ rubio/ gordon starting five. Lets roll with that and see what happens. Make this happen flip. Go get wiggins!
I agree, world, but I prefer the upside of Bennett.
By the way, what's the source of the Gordon rumor? Do we think it has some validity?

A Martin for Gibson swap is a joke. You guys do realize that Gibson is their rim protector off the bench and could very well start over Gasol? They just drafted scoring in McBuckets and signed it in Gasol and Mirotic. They aren't going to trade Gibson for any of our wing garbage. They have Butler, Snell, McBuckets, Dunleavy and some Heinrich to cover the wings. They have plenty of offense on the way, so I don't see them making any other moves. Right now, I think they're the favorite to come out of the East pending Rose's health and they are still the second best team in the East if he isn't healthy given their additions.

The Gordon rumor is just armchair GM'ing. There's no source behind it that I am aware of. It's just a risk I'd like Flip to take considering our role players are capped out and Gordon can be a better player if he stays healthy which he made big strides in last year playing the second most games of his career in a season.

Yep couldn't have said it much better after seeing him in SL McBuckets IMO is a SF.

And yet, they still don't have enough perimeter shooting, or wing scoring for that matter. Dunleavy is their biggest proven threat and McDermott will be a specialist his rookie year. A team in win now mode like Chicago could definitely use Martin. Laughable that you call him garbage.

I didn't call Martin garbage. I called your Martin for Gibson trade garbage. If Noah gets hurt which isn't a reach and they don't have Gibson, they lose their biggest asset in good defense at the rim. I don't think Martin would see the floor for Thibs because he plays 0 defense and that doesn't fly with Thibs. I'd take that deal in a heartbeat because they get fleeced, but I don't see then making any other moves.

No way the Bulls trade Gibson for Martin. Gibson's awesome on both ends.
