Just had another earthquake. I think the remaining games tonight are canceled.

Must have been the aftershock from one of Zion's dunks in the first half. :)

Just had lunch with AD and LeBron at Bellagio. We didn't sit at the same table, but we were in the same section. :)

Just watched the first 3 quarters of the first Wolves game and here are my thoughts.

Okogie has a good first step and can get into the painted area and has the wherewithall to draw fouls. His finishing around the basket is still suspect.

KBD had a real nice game. Played C some minutes not sure there was a real big guy out ther for the Cavs then but its still interesting.

Murphy did some good things out there. I know he missed some FTs but his release on his shot looks more clean and easy than before. I wonder what others think that watched him more. He had a couple blocks and general defense looked solid. I'm not saying he was awesome just that he did well.

Martin looked less impressive when I knew I was looking for him. Took some bad shots had some bad fouls and at times didn't look as quick on defense. I'm still looking forward to seeing more. Not saying he sucked far from it but it made me think I need to see alot more.

Creek plays hard and is physical.

The wolves defense was active and aggressive. There was breakdowns and it was likely because these are new guys playing together. You could see it start to come together in the 2nd quarter where they had fewer breakdowns and the Cavs made some tough contested shots. What REALLY hurt the Wolves in the first half was turnovers. They had at least 7 in the first quarter alone. I wonder how many they had in the 2nd half.

Also both interviews of KBD after the game is seemed really comfortable and confident. Last year at this time he was polite and well spoken but it felt like if he didn't have to speak he would have almost been ok with that.

Sam Mitchell can be annoying at times but for Summer league I thought he was pretty good in this game especially considering some of the other guys they have had. He does know a lot of these players pretty well. Some color guys are just rambling on and on about something having to do with the NBA roster and has nothing to do with the guys on the floor.
