The Rookie wall is a thing and even more understandable considering all the circumstances surrounding this year. Ant continues to show typical rookie growing pains but hasn't hit a wall. He's proving to be the right pick and a player that fans will pay money to go see. Add to that the Mcdaniels pick and I'd say Rosas nailed last years draft.

I will be another one to admit that I was wrong. I believe Camden and I were the highest on Wiseman, but I can accept being wrong. Ant is so likable, and his play lately is incredible. I am also so happy for KAT, seeing a load taken off his shoulders is awesome. Especially after the last year he had. Loving what I am seeing from that duo.

Ant was my guy from the start, but I see no shame for those who had concerns. I had them too, and despite his recent resurgence, I have a new concern. I wonder if his lack of gravitas might hold him back from stardom. I recognize he is only 19 and I also agree that his child-like personality makes him extraordinarily quotable and likable. But as I peruse the list of the 50 greatest players of all time, I don't see anyone that even approaches Ant's personality style. The only ones who even come close might be Kevin McHale and Bill Walton, but even they both had a certain seriousness and focus at age 19 that I sense Ant lacks. Of course 19 year olds mature, but when I project current Ant to 30-year-old Ant in my head, I don't think he will be much different. He's a unique individual, that's for sure.
Can anyone name a player with a personality like Ant's that became a star? Does anyone else see this is something that might hold him back?

I think of Barkley. Its not exactly the same but Barkley was silly as hell especially when younger. I wouldnt describe Ant's personality as a lack of gravitas at all, only a quarky and unique sense of humor which has come up in past stars Barkley being the most prevalent example I could think of.
