1. Lost to a team that had lost 15 of 16... mostly in blowouts. The Lakers are DESPERATELY trying to lose in one of the most blatant tank jobs in NBA history... sans the 76ers Hinkie era and our very own Mark Madsen game.

2. Lost to a terrible team after being up 13 at the half...

3. Lost to a terrible team after being up 8 with 2+ minutes left...

4. Did I mention the Lakers are trying to lose?

5. 50+ losses. Again.

6. This team is simply so far away... Again.

We just don't have enough good NBA players on this team. Dieng needs to be coming off the bench and has basically fallen off a cliff since Zach went down. We have 1 above average NBA wing on the team right now. It seems like every team has a bench guy that can come in and change the outlook of a game and we still don't have that guy. We basically have 3 guys right now in Towns, Wiggins and Ricky and Ricky and Wiggins are prone to fall off a cliff on any given night. This team flat out needs help and a lot of it. Spend some fucking money this summer and deal with the financial consequences later because we'll just never have anything building if we keep saving money for Towns and Wiggins and they never build the winning attitude and effort required on both ends if we don't give them the help they need now.

A few days ago Lebron, Love and Kyrie combined for 100 points and beat the Lakers by 5 points. The game before that LA lost to the Bucks by 4. I try not to get wrapped up too much in one game.

They are just bad. I tuned in for the 4th quarter. We were up by like 10 points. It was totally winnable. But then they went like 8 minutes without making a basket. It was like watching a lazy pick up game at your local gym. Just terrible basketball. People can say Rubio was the problem. He contributed to the problem. People can blame Dieng. He wasn't great either. Neither was Towns or Wiggins or pick your player. They sucked as a team down the stretch/when it mattered. Coming into this season, I thought we had the major pieces in place. I'm not really sure about that anymore. I'm just not seeing players that have that killer instinct and refuse to get beat. The Lakers just looked like they were trying harder than the Wolves at the end and that was disturbing to me. At this point, it's baseball season as far as I'm concerned. Puke.

I've been on vacation and have missed all the recent games. Good timing actually. It's disappointing to see them revert to losing again but I'm not at all surprised. The brutal schedule was going to catch up to them eventually and it did on the last road trip. Losing 3 winnable games broke their back and then blowing the Spurs game and poof, the season is over.

But I think they will be fine. Since the horrid 11-26 start they have been a .500 team with two key injuries. Thibs will hopefully bring in a couple tough, defensive minded veterans and that could make a huge difference. Right now we are starting Rush who possibly shouldn't even be in the rotation. Dieng is probably best as a backup. Towns and Wiggins still have maturing to do, and Dunn and Tyus as well. Belly looked like he finally found some game right before he unfortunately got injured. Hopefully he comes back as that player and not the one we saw for most of the year.

It comes down to next season. Thibs gets a pass from me this year, but next year he either has to get us to the playoffs, minimum, or it's time to go. He's had a year to evaluate his current players and see who fits and what we might need. Next year's team will be ready to compete from the get go and at least be decent out of the gate. For now, as much as it sucks, losing games isn't the worst thing. Even if we don't use our pick, the higher it is the more value it has in a trade.

Everybody keep calm and carry on. Yes the "next year next year" cliché has gotten old, but I truly believe next year we will break through with an improved roster and our young guys maturing.

I don't believe in it anymore. At this point, they just need to do it, but they're not gonna get the hope and enthusiasm out of me, They have to earn that back.

How about 6 games? They lost to a team TRYING to lose.

Other recent defeats are by 24, 28 and 38 points. There's nothing redeemable about a loss to the Lakers right now. They're the worst team in the NBA.

If you told people at the beginning of the year wiggins was shooting 35% from 3 and Rubio was hitting 41% from the field I think people would be happy with those developments. There have been some positives that have come out of this season and I firmly believe we will see a significant improvement in a number of ways having the same system and same coach and same people making decisions 2 years in a row. That hasn't happened for how many years?

First game I've missed in years. I wasn't going to pay to go see the current Wolves, and the game was blacked out on Direct TV locally. I could have gone to a bar and watched, but to me the result was predictable. We just don't play well against Portland. And those losses are personally painful to me.
