I'm going to boldly predict that the T'wolves go 13 and 8 in their final 21 games and finish with 38 wins on the season. Which games are wins and which are loses I can't say but I will say that very few teams scare me if our guys stay health and continue to play defense.

Heh, well done. That's a pretty bullish forecast though for our Wolves. Washington for example...they are playing some damn good ball. You also have us beating Houston in the last game of the season, perhaps because their position might be set by then and they will be resting guys (?).

That is indeed bold.
I think the playoffs are still a massive stretch, but just the fact
we have a chance is meaningful and healthy for this squad.

"Massive stretch" sounds like they basically have no shot which seems weird them being 3 games back and 20 or so games left to go. I'm splitting hairs but it's kinda weird. The larger point that at least we have a reason to stay interested and watching the scoreboard is a great thing regardless.

I have a feeling we are going to get a Spurs rest game on Saturday. The Spurs will have to play 4 games in 6 days. This will be their 3rd game in 4 days and they are traveling to play the back to back. Seems like the classic pop rests everyone game

13 and 8 is only slightly better than the results from the last 20 games. I know the schedule is brutal but our squad is also better than they were 20 games ago. The other reason for this prediction is if they do win 13 more my preseason win total prediction would prove correct.

I think it will be really tight race between Denver, Minnesota, Dallas and Portland. I was already almost leaving Portland off from the group but they show last night with a win against good playoff team Oklahoma that they should not be forgotten.
Good thing is that we have still three games left against Portland. If Wolves win all of them, I can't see them ending below Portland in standings.
Dallas and Denver are more problematic since we won't have any games left against them. Maybe now after Mudiay came back from injury, they will hand him starting job again and it will be enough to drop Denver below us in final standings. Wes Matthews might miss still couple of more games because of hip injury, maybe that will help us keeping Dallas behind.

According to the Klunk-O-Meter the Wolves have two anti-klunkers since the break to put them at 30-52... They need to have a LOT more anti-klunkers!
Especially against Portland, who also has two anti-klunkers, putting them at 36-46. I don't see Dallas in the mix because their schedule is just as tough as ours, but they are not showing any signs of getting hot. New Orleans has also shown no signs of getting hot.
Denver is the other team getting hot with two of their own anti-klunkers, putting them on pace to finish 33-49.
Sacramento, who had been on top for the 8th seed at 35-57, have had 3 klunkers since the break -- it looks like they are falling off the deep end...

Another good stroke of luck for the wolves is that Durant will be out for both the GS games. I hate to say it in fear of a jinx but we should go 1-1 in those two games. Also, Houston in the last game of the year should be a wolves win because the Rockets should be locked in by then. It would be really nice to get a win on Saturday against the Spurs!!
I'm predicting 13-8 the rest of the way so Nuggets have to go 10-11 or worse. (not sure who would win tie breaker)
Go Wolves!
