Heh, not better. But I think if he's out there with guys that can carry the load offensively, we really don't lose much and in some ways it is more helpful.

Yeah, I agree that Teague is clearly our starter, but maybe games like this will convince Thibs that Tyus can contribute...I'm certain both Teague and Tyus will play better if Thibs gives Tyus more minutes at PG.

lets see some deep bench guys in this one.

Q I am not sure Dudley can guard 3's anymore.

What a masterfully coached game by Thibs. Clearly he taught everyone lots at the last practice.

But still, it looks like a win in a game we needed to win...we'll be back in a tie for that 4th spot.

It would have been a game if they had Booker. We had our typical 4th quarter near meltdown as Mike James did whatever he wanted on one end while we frittered away possessions in isolation play on the other.

Towns habbing his foot ro the tune of 2 shot clock violations. Nothing new this game. For most part poorly defended poor ball movement. Wash rinse repeat

It shouldn't get lost in the shuffle that we won a game starting a 21 year old PG (youngest PG in the game) that had 9 points 50% shooting 7 assists 4 rebs 7 steals 2 blocks with zero turnovers. That's the type of stuff good teams have is young players that step up and what we have been wanting to see for years right?

What stands out in the box score the most to me is Tyus with 2 blocks, KAT with 1.

Tyus looks night and day from his rookie year. He played great. Nice to see Wiggins show up on the defensive end as well. I was going to make a post about his 3 pointer coming back, you just knew it had too and would be a big difference on the offensive end. We just need more 3's from him and Butler. Taj isn't a 3 guy so you can't have 3/5 starters not shooting or making many 3's.

Could Tyus be the rim protector we have been waiting so long for :o ?

All kidding aside, nice game for our local guy!
