Guys on all teams move all the time. It's dumb. Just sayin. Dieng has to get better at whatever it is to not get called but sometimes it's on the guys players are setting screens for.

If I was coaching to win or develop guys I wouldn't have started KG in this game. Credit to him and Sam KG played well against that small ball lineup of Miles at PF.

Made getting rolled in that 4th quarter sucked and Lavine got ate up on the defensive end but they played the young guys and at this point that's fine with me. Prince was terrific defensively most of that game but Abe is right he needs to take some of those open shots. He seems to be more willing lately but not enough still.

A agree with your points, monster. I was frustrated with the play of the youngsters yesterday in the 4th quarter, but it's all part of the delicate job Sam has in balancing winning and developing. The rubes over at rubechat are unanimous in their opinions that only guys under the age of 28 should ever be on the court. Others (like me) want more minutes from the vets and more wins, and think that the young studs are going to develop even if they have fewer minutes. Sam is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't, and the answer is likely somewhere in the middle...use the vets to get us off to a good start, but give the teenagers a chance to close it out. It's all about balance and I'm largely on board...I just get frustrated sometimes watching the young guys piss away a winnable game.

And yes, Tay needs to take that shot.

Yep Sam has it tough. He has been really tough on Bazz (so have you) and I have agreed with how bad he has been defensively but it feels like he should get more of a shot out there. He had some bad defensive possssions but Wiggins and Lavine got burned at key times also. I am not suggesting they were as bad as Bazz but bottom line those guys (and probably poor overall coverage) were a big reason on that end the Wolves got rolled at the end. Again Sam has it tough. Payne came in and played well enough in that game and barely played. That's just an example of how many guys Sam has to try and work in for various reasons. Bazz playing as a small ball PF made sense but then KG played well in his minutes and he is KG. Fortunately KG is willing to play limited minutes but still it's tough. Credit to the other old vets to be bought in. I am happy Tyus is getting his shot now. I also find it interesting Lavine is clearly giving up the ball to him as the PG. it will be interesting to see how that develops. I agree with J. Pete that Tyus should look to score some not just facilitate.
