Interesting that you mention Hield, Jerry. I wasn't a big supporter of drafting him (although I would not have been opposed), but he has had three terrific preseason games...averaging 17 PPG in 28 minutes on 53% shooting (40% on 3's). With Evans out for awhile with a knee injury, Hield could very well be the starting SG at least at the start of the season and become the early favorite for ROY.
Wow, pretty good. But as CSNY said, "if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with"
So here's hoping Dunn turns out to be better than Hield, Murray, or any of the other comps on our board.
I'm always going to defer to you on Seinfeld trivia, Jerry, but I'll take issue with incorrect musical references (even when well applied :)). That song was actually on a Steve Stills solo album (although Nash and Crosby added some backup vocals)...Young was nowhere to be found on the original studio version. I know...picky, picky![/quote
Ah, I stand corrected. Speaking of Young, did you ever see him and Fallon sing Old Man together on the Tonight Show?

Saw a stat that Dunn is shooting 1 - 14 on shots outside of 3 feet. Small sample size and early days but is this cause for concern?

Well, we kind of knew that his shot wasn't exactly consistent coming out of Providence. His mechanics aren't the smoothest in the world and he can miss wildly. Recall that he never even broke 70% on his free throws throughout college. That's a sure sign of someone without a consistent outside shot.
I still think he's more similar to Rubio than different. He's a big, strong PG that has the potential to be elite defensively, rebound well for his position, and get assists. He will most certainly be a better finisher at the rim than Rubio, but on the other hand he can be quite careless with the ball too. His outside shot will probably be a work in progress for the next couple of years.

Man I am glad I checked for that video. The first one I watched was this more recent one they did together last June. I enjoyed both of the of the videos.

I think most people are on board with Thibodeau being able to improve the defense this season. But with the lack of outside shooting on this team, it'll be interesting if it can improve offensively.
I know they were actually a decent team offensively last season (especially the 2nd half), and that young players can/should improve... but... I can't help but worry a bit about the shooting.
