I believe we will draft 4 because thats the worst possible scenario and this is the Wolves.
So what to do?
I say leave Mudiay on the board, take Porzingis, and call it a draft. Please Flip dont get cute. Hezonja? A great shooter, lots of concerns. Nobody here can say with any certainty that Towns would be better than Porzingis anyway. I like the comparisons of Porzingis to Pau, gives me something to hope for.

The Minnesota sports spirit is alive and well. Don't you think there is too much positive potential in Porzingis? Shouldn't we just take Kaminsky and make it another great Minnesota sports blunder?

I trust flip in talent evaluation if he believes the Okafor is better than Towns then so be it I like towns but it doesn't matter I trust flip. Flip has yet to have a bad pick. I am also on the Winslow train hard core

Porzingis could just as easily become Yi Jianlian. I want to stay away from ole Kristaps.

Cam - Porzingis could just as easily become Yi Jianlian. Wow that is scary. Good point,
Winslow? Hezonja? at 4, what's your pick?

Don't know if Rubio and his 36% shooting is THAT marketable 5 years in to his career...

I'm either taking Mudiay or Russell at No. 4 depending on which one is available. If by some fluke chance that both are gone, then I'll take Towns or Okafor.
Another option is if Towns/Okafor/Russell are gone, I'd trade down using Mudiay as a trade chip and scoop up Cauley-Stein and perhaps a future first to make up for that bullshit Payne trade Flip did.

JZ has been saying for a month that Okafor is #1 with Flip, and both Lipoli and I have heard the same thing from different sources within the Wolves' organization. Doesn't mean it's so, but just for fun let's assume it is. Let me repeat the question I teed up in the original post. If you are like me and prefer Towns, do you hope the Wolves get the second pick in tonight's lottery, thereby increasing the chances that they end up with Towns?
It's not going to matter in the end because whoever wins the top pick is likely to take Towns at this point. We'll probably take Okafor first or second regardless of where Towns is on their draft board.
I'm inclined to agree with you, although somehow I think the Lakers could take Okafor if they got the first pick. I'm back to hoping we get the first pick. If Flip really loves Okafor, and he thinks there are some teams behind us that have Towns at the top of their board, perhaps Flip can make a deal to pick up an asset and still end up with the guy he covets.
