It was a Wolves team hitting on all cylinders playing a team that cannot get out of its own way of late. The game was fools gold in that they've shown no propensity to perform consistently at this level even against bad teams.
Maybe this will help you decide!
Brewer 9-14 22pts
Barea 8-8 18pts
If that isn't the sign of the end of times I don't know what is! I suspect at the very least this means many more weeks of winter up there in Minny!!
TheSP, End of times with these performances would lead to a nicely elevated price point. Or in my opinion, hopefully. The crazy thing is this, Barea has all the talent in the world to be more then what he has shown in the last few years....he has the potential to be a top notch 6th man. But seems to play down way to often.
Brewer on the other hand has been placed into a tough situation this year. He is not a starter, but Adelman has given him free range all year to showcase his skills. I must say, for his price, he has done his best. Besides for a few rough spots, weeks of purely looking tired, he has been rejuvenated of late. For a guy who at Denver was solely a bench player, he showed tonight with a bit of elevated enthusiasm, he played great.
I don't expect this from these guys all the time, but you are right....they displayed the best of potential tonight. Damn, I wish they could do this more often or just more consistanely.
Rubio played to his level, Love played at a All-star leevl+ and in my opinion Turiaf was worth every penny. But if this team wants to make a move, we need our bench and we need them now until the end of the season. We can make the Playoffs and be a tough matchup for anyone.
