The vote is in. Once again I'm on the losing side. It's Ricky for Rondo. Get it done Flip. :)

I am a rondo fan but i would prefer to keep rubio. Rubio to me is more of a natural leader whereas rondo could be a pain in the butt. Rondo is better now no doubt but as others mentioned, he has peaked as a player. Rubio could still improved and even if he doesnt get to rondo level,he would still have good value around the league. Thats where him being younger comes to play.

By Rubios own admission hes struggling with his confidence, which has affected his leadership on the court.
Doesnt sound like a natural leader to me. Another Buzz word potentially?

Seems like we already made this decision when we blew our load this summer. We are throwing all our chips in to make the PO's this season, so you have to make the trade. Have to stay with Adelman's plan. ~

You bring up a good point porkchop. Im looking at this long term wise as i expect rubio to pick it up eventually.
If rubio cant play better than he has so far, then hes not worth trading rondo in the first place.
Rubio has been a leader in the past. Teamates and coaches like him. He has certainly been a leader of this team in the past and has the attitude of one.
Im a fan of rondo but i just prefer over hom right now. Good points were made in this thread. I just prefer rubio.

Even Rondo can hit a 12 foot shot. When Rondo is full strength, he was one of the most talented, defensive and offensively creative players in the NBA. He had toughness...Ricky...not so much

I protest that you think that I am against this!!!!!!.......I like it for entertainment value. Just if it happens, I think that it is 100% certain that Love is gone......that's all.

Love is probably real close to jumping ship but if Rondo comes back to 90% of what he was we'd land a threat that defense has to adjust to. Rondo's attitude is nothing more than extreme competitiveness that leads to the occasional high emotion outburst. Put winners around Love and he might forget about playing somewhere else. The young and could improve Ricky points are just as likely as young and not improving. Ricky looks uncomfortable trying to finish in the lane and his form on his jump shot = UGLY. Also what has he done to indicate future improvement? If anything he looks worse this year than any other year!
I'd love to see Ricky improve but if I had to project him long term I'd say his shooting and inability to finish in the paint will stick with him for his NBA career.

Hey, the polls aren't closed yet! I'm definitely NOT in favor of trading for Rondo. I don't know if you guys have seen him since his return from knee surgery, but he doesn't look good at all. And you never know how long it will take a player to return to form after a torn ACL, if he ever does. Not to mention that he's a dink. I find him a very difficult guy to cheer for, and I don't want him on my team.
