Also worst comes to worst Gordon has an opt out after this season if Love would leave he might too and then we'd have a crap load of cap space. Which is another reason I think we should wait to extend Ricky until after this season. If we extend him now his salary counts against the cap next summer, if we wait to match an offer sheet it doesn't (ex Parsons)

Ricky's cap hold will be much higher than Parsons since Parsons was a second rounder and has been making minimum salary so far.

It'll still only be 5-6 million

Actually it should be 200% of his 4th year salary so the hold will be over 10 million. The league makes cap holds this way to help guard against loop hole spending.

MIN receives: Eric Gordon, Ryan Anderson and Luke Babbit.

NOL receives: Kevin Martin, Chase Budinger, Alexey Shved and J.J Barea.

Rubio / FA (Livingston, Vasquez or Blake)
Gordon / LeVine / GR3
Brewer / Muhammad / Babbit
Love / Anderson / LMAM
Pekovic / Dieng / Turiaf

You're right. Read in an article it was 105% but that must be with vets and not restricted free agents. Would be better to extend him sooner then

Does anyone know if Klay can play SF?

Rubio
Gordon
Thompson
Lee
Pek

While I don't think we would do much damage in the West with that lineup it sure would be fun to watch. Ricky wouldn't know what to do with so many scorers around him. Our bench would be even worse than last year though :o

I envision a future of Ricky running the court with both Klay and Zach on the wings. It could be deadly.

funny how some people would want Gordon because if he's healthy he can be an all star, yet the same people want to ship Pek out because he's always injured
