Bennett doesn't want to be a PF. He wants to be a SF. I don't ever recall Bennett having a dominant post game, nor did I see one on the floor. Jumper doesn't look like he can consistently hit from NBA three point line either.

Question: How does one improve their motor? You can improve your conditioning, but having a good motor is all about mindset and "want to". If you don't want to make hustle plays and do the little things, you just won't. Didn't we see this with Derrick Williams? Guy was in fantastic shape to start off the 2013 campaign. Still didn't look like his motor was any better.

I'll take the established 12/10 player who plays good defense and already has a decent motor, BUT Thompson/Bennett isn't a deal-breaker for me. I just prefer Thompson over a guy that may never be starter quality.

I think everything went wrong that could go wrong with Bennett in year one. I think a team that can develop players would he could blossom. I would take the risk, but we would need the right coach. I think Hoiberg is a guy that could really develop a young team. Mitchell might have learned a few things with his time off from coaching, but I am not so sure. Either way the 1st pick and Waiters would be the keys to this trade. Then do you draft Wiggins or Parker? I lean towards Wiggins because I think he will be a good 2 way player and he would benefit a ton from playing with Rubio more then Parker would.

Personally, I think Parker is a for-sure star in the NBA. Wiggins may have the higher ceiling, but his potential to bust is also a lot stronger too. With JaBari, we'd get an offensively polished 19-year old to be the new face of the franchise. Wiggins has two-way potential, but he'll never be what Parker will be on offense. Doesn't have the handle or the passing ability like Parker, not to mention the killer mentality. I also think Rubio and Parker would work really well together.

Lloyd, I think that silence you hear from both camps is a bigger indication that Love wants out.

Possibly, but why should Love have to keep denying these rumors every time a new "source" report comes out?

Cam, Would you trade the 1st pick for 76ers 3rd and 10th?

Value-wise, absolutely. 3/10 for 1 is too good of value to pass up, which is also why I doubt that it would get offered. I think I saw Simmons propose that in a Love trade article. I honestly don't see why Philly would do it, though. The same reason we'd be comfortable moving down two spots is why Philly's comfortable staying where they're at -- guaranteed one of Parker/Wiggins/Embiid.

For us, I'd hope that Philly took Wiggins, Milwaukee took Embiid and we'd get Parker. Then I'd take 10 and Martin and move up to the Kings at 8. I think we have to hop Charlotte to get my guy Stauskas.

Then at 13 we can roll the dice on Adreian Payne.

Parker/Stauskas/Payne -- I'd be the happiest fan in the world.

I would try to get Bennett over Thompson though.

David Thorpe comments on him - "We discussed his overall talent here a few weeks ago. A Bennett who is 6-8 and can get down to about 230 pounds will be a double-double machine averaging north of 20 points per game. He won't be Kevin Love, but he won't be far from that level, either. Love plays the game with such ferocity now, something that was not evident earlier in his career. Bennett can improve his motor hugely, and, with his sweet-shooting stroke, strong frame, great hands and natural scoring feel, that motor can help carry him to All-Star Games for years. His physical talent will allow him to be a dominant post player with range -- a rare combination."

Thorpe must be on crack. Love played with plenty of ferocity his rookie year averaging almost a double double in less than 26 minutes while being out of shape. Bennett did almost nothing in his rookie year (missed being on the rookie team in one of the worst drafts of my lifetime as we can tell based on the performances of the players last year) and he missed 30 games to injury. Sure he has talent but to compare him to Love is an absolute joke and I would say that even if I wasn't a Wolves and Love homer.
