Think he showed signs of a 3 level scorer. Obviously got a long ways to go but happy with how he played

Yeah, George made it look easy out there. A little mis-direction or hard basket cut and Minott (or whoever else was guarding him) was toast.

Minott played the 4 and some 5 in G-League last year. Never did he play the 3. I like that the Wolves are trying to challenge and stretch Minott by putting him on guards and wings, but he really struggles to guard on the perimeter. Not sure he can make the transition to a wing in the same way that Jaden could. And of course he didn't make any of his 3s.

Let’s hold our horses on George. It’s 2 two SL games where he has been on fire from 3. He was a 33% college 3 pt shooter who was just ok in the Sacramento summer league.

I saw some good things from both early on, so real happy we have them. I think after the first half, I was contemplating a rotation where Miller might see some regular minutes and wondering whose minutes get cut. It seems like I was a bit premature and I think Miller probably needs another season refining his game, especially learning the nuances of defense before he breaks into the rotation for good. Still feel amazed we got Miller in the second round.

Yeah, I think our defense was terrible and Keyonte just punished us, but don't know how good this kid is until he faces legit NBA players. I think Wendell Moore's defense was missed this game. I probably was too down on him after the first game because of his shooting, but his absence tonight, made me realize how much is defensive presence was missed.
