Not sure Conley should have taken that shot....honestly kind of side with Dennis on this one.
I'm with Conley, I always viewed it as not shooting when the shot clock is turned off.
Wouldn’t have happened if Ant didn’t play hot potato with the ball because he didn’t want the turnover to go on his stat sheet.
Same with Naw but at the end of day such a stupid unwritten rule. As the guy who likes baseball the most on the board all unwritten rules are freakin dumb.

Also shot clock violations are not an individual turnover on the stat sheet it’s a team turnover

I know this but players don’t know this. You see this across the nba at end of games players will give the rock up because they think it’s a turnover.
I guarantee if you asked Ant why he didn’t just dribble out himself and he was being honest it’s because he thought it was turnover on him.
No different than guys who purposely shoot after the clock hits zero from half court and on during quarters so it doesn’t count on there stat sheet. Paul pierce was the king at it.
Actually a lot of things to like in this ugly win:
1) Despite another poor offensive night (until the end), elite defense by Jaden on Bridges all night. And I liked his toughness coming in to protect Conley from Schroeder at the end.
2) SloMo was fun to watch all night...12/9/3 +6 and great defense.
3) I used to think KAT was soft...he's not.
4)There's no question that Monte Morris is going to help this team down the stretch.
5) NAW's non-stop hustle...there's a reason he's +9 on a 0-6 shooting night
We needed this one and it didn't look good in the first half. Good job gutting it out.

For all of the plaudits KAT gets as the starting PF on the #1 defense in the NBA, I have actually seen the most growth from him on that side of the ball when he plays Center. This kind of started (or at least my noticing it) in the Memphis series a couple seasons ago, so even before Rudy arrived onto the scene.
I think what's happened is he's put on some natural "old man" strength by simply maturing more into his body, so he just seems to have a stronger base overall. Combine that with a much better ability to wall up and stay vertical without fouling and he's become a pretty decent defensive Center. He can still get flummoxed in drop coverage and take bad angles against dribble drives, but he just seems a lot better the last couple of years.
