Well, we are 2-0 without KAT this season, including one of our more impressive wins at Sacramento. We starting a 6 game road trip where the KOM says we will lose the first 4 games. So any win in the next 4 is a bonus.

Not to make us all feel worse, but the Wolves' offensive numbers when KAT is on the court versus off doesn't make me very optimistic. When KAT is on the court, the Wolves offensive rating is 118.8 (tied with Denver for 8th best), and 111.1 when he is off (tied with Washington for 25th).

Silver lining? The Wolves defensive rating with KAT off the floor is an extraordinary 105.3. To be fair, they are still a superb 109.7 when KAT is on the floor, better than the #2 Celtics 111.4.

No one is suggesting this team is better off without their 7 footer who averages 22/game. It’s suggested he could be useful in acquiring talent that adds depth, draft assets and shooting
