I am happy for Towns. He gets to go back home. Hopefully he does well other wise this could be a nightmare for him.

I had to find out where everyone went to see what the Wolfpack is saying about this trade. I think Towns is the last player that Flip acquired.

Exciting offseason for the Wolves.

Welp, Randle is starting off with the correct attitude!

I know a lot of you are not fans of Randle, but he is a dog and playmaker. That combination might overwhelm a lot of opponents this year. We'll see how it plays out, but so far he is talking the good talk. Now we need to see him walk...

I hope he tells Ant to keep his pecker in his pants. That would help a lot.

Doesn’t this belong in the “Pecking Order” thread?!? :D

This is the full youtube clip of the Randle interview. I don't know what we'll see on the court, but I'll take a Randle interview any day over a KAT interview! ;)

Interview

Tim Connelly when @DanBarreiroKFAN asked him if he stays in contact with Chris Finch and the coaching staff while making trades:

"I'll give Finchy a salary book and [tell him to] cross out the guys you really dislike, heart the guys you really like, and in between, we will have conversations. Julius is a guy he has always loved. He coached him in New Orleans, so there was built-in familiarity ... there probably isn't a bigger Julius Randle fan in the NBA than Finchy. Every move is going to be lock-step with Finchy."

Towns has never sucked, but I think as the number one pick he never took that big leap after his rookie season even without the pressure and distractions that come with playing in a big market City. Randle however took his share of scrutiny under the bright lights in LA and New York and has improved as a player. Which of these two players are heading into situations they are well equipped to handle and who is expected to carry more of theirs team’s weight of expectations?
