Loved the way we played tonight...matched (exceeded) intensity without getting overly emotional

Finally made it home.

Pricey ticket. My seats were pretty high and it cost $250 with fees. The Wolves are definitely a must see team here. $250 before got me tickets within eyesight of Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the past. Anyway, Randle got a nice ovation when he was introduced. On the flip side, the crowd let Rudy Gobert hear those boos cascading down. Not surprised. Donte didn't get mentioned nor was there a tribute video this time. Part of it was that they did all of this in October during preseason and of course DDV didn't play, but they didn't re-air it.

Ant started slow but he got others involved instead of constantly forcing it. From the 2nd quarter on he was super smooth, looking for guys, finding the right guys. Conley was an unsung hero tonight because in the first quarter that was the Conley we know and love. That 10 spot early put pressure on Brunson and eased things for Ant.

EDIT: the T on Ant was crap. They coulda let that go.

Rob Dillingham's first shit was awesome and what we've been begging this team to do. Rob's gonna bottle up tonight and hopefully take it with him going forward because that's what we wanted, just a little sneak peek of what's to come.

Randle was frustrating. I wanted him sitting. He almost salvaged the night in the 4th quarter playing better defense and realizing the Knicks put back in Jericho Sims. They had 2 FT's for 3 quarters and finally someone decided to give Rudy the ball. Still can't catch and almost lost it a couple of times but held on. Back to Randle, he did what we didn't like from KAT normally, which was pass out of a matchup where he had the upper hand. Now last game he went off and it led to the Knicks kicking our asses, so if it means him being passive leads to us winning, I'll take it.

This is the game where our hopes and dreams on Naz feel real. He was on it tonight and it frustrated the crowd. They couldn't understand the freedom Naz got to shoot, but this is the kind of output Naz has to do on a nightly basis once he starts (maybe not 6-6 from 3 every night but 23 and 8 sounds about right.

Jaden did a bang up job on Brunson tonight. Every shot was tough. 8 rebounds I can't complain about. 10 points on 4-11 shooting, needs work.

NAW sucked tonight until that three late in the game. This wasn't a great Minott game, but he'll have better nights. Finch just gotta stick with it.

All in all, good win even without Towns. Not a ton of Wolves fans but we were happy. They'll be back in April against the Nets, where $250 will get me a spot on the Nets' bench.

That must have been a super fun game to be at Wildwolf. Dillingham and Naz together is going to be a potent offensive combo. Nice to see rob get some playing time and contribute in a meaningful game.

Abe's Next Day Only 4th Quarter, Mail-in-in DVR Review:

- They looked very good.

- I asked just a day or two ago about games this season when the Wolves played well. Yesterday probably counts, right?

- I've only missed about 3 or 4 Wolves games this season. I think they've been some of the team's best wins.

- I'll see my way out.
