Let's not do this, last time around we discovered we have multiple people on polar opposites of the aisle. That's fine but it really dragged down the basketball discussion.

I reacted to that quote more than anything and it just irks me that anyone could like someone who is so pro fascism, supporting of Nazi political groups and systematically and illegally attempting to destroy so many important structures of government in order to directly benefit his own companies. If you guys wanna keep politics off the board I get it but I won’t ignore fascist dog whistles.
I'll message you

Must be nice to ignore the march of authoritarianism. Let’s just placate the bootlickers and get back to having a good time! Glad to see Donte and Julius reintegrating so quickly.

The last few posts have raised the ire of the Big Bad Administrator and have been removed. As Abe stated, this conversation can be continued at viewtopic.php?t=4&start=240

On another note, Rudy has been upgraded to "Questionable" for tomorrow night's game in Miami. I expect we might see some road bumps as he gets integrated back in, but our defense should pick up!

The Donte and Ju we have seen the past three games bear little resemblance to the guys we watched back in October. They seem to fit really well now, and are setting us up well for the stretch drive. Some of us occasionally check in on the tweets of a guy who used to post here. Last night he said TC traded away KAT for a "ham sandwich". I just checked the NBA record books, and last night was the greatest game ever for a ham sandwich...41/15/10 with only 3 TOS and a +31!

Edit: And I'm by no means dismissing KAT's value...he is a unique offensive performer, and a large contributor to last year's playoff run. But to put things in perspective, it seems like the Wolves performed quite well during the month+ that KAT was out injured last season. On the other hand, we really struggled during Ju's and Donte's absence. KAT has had a very productive season, but add in the first round pick we are going to get from Detroit plus the cap relief, and the deal doesn't look too bad right now.

And DDV has been absolutely fantastic since coming back from injury. He is getting awfully close to New York Knicks Donte, which is a massive bargain and something that is desperately needed on this team (elite movement shooter). I really see him being a key part of the second window.

It's not only his incredible shooting (his quick release reminds me of Klay in his prime), but also the way the game speeds up when he is running the show. Kyle Thiege expressed his frustration on Dane's podcast a couple days ago with how Ant slows the game down, but then talked about how Donte does the opposite. He's really been fun to watch.

And meanwhile KAT seems to be going in the other direction. He's only 9 for 32 on 3's since the all-star break, and didn't help us at all last night against the Lakers, missing his only shot in OT while committing 2 critical fouls. Not a big deal because I project we will finish 5 games behind the LA, but it would have been nice to see him show up down the stretch.
