Houston's stayed in its series with Jalen Green putting up games of 7, 38, 9, 8, 11, and 12. Green has had some duds against us, and some huge games against us. If we play Houston, I don't think we can count on him have so many bad games. Fred Vanleet meanwhile has put up 17, 25, 26, 29 in the last 4 games shooting out of his mind from three. I don't think that is something that is going to continue, although he did have one really good game against us in the regular season. I think we can shut down Fred on offense for the most part. Houston seems to only be playing 8 guys in their rotation.
Golden State, you have to take care of Curry obviously and Jimmy. Green will hit a few threes if you leave him wide open. Podziemski has had some good games against us, so you need to run him off the three point line. Golden State surprisingly has only play 3 players more than 30 minutes per game in the Houston series and are playing 9-10 guys a night.
Golden State has one really phyical player in Green who may try to hurt someone, where Houston has several players like Brooks that are really physical and may try to hurt you. Houston has the younger legs and can bounce back easier from a brutal 7 game series, but are also inexperienced. Curry on a heater can kill you on any give game, Houston doesn't have that for sure thing closer but Fred has been that in the last 4 games. Golden State more than likely has to double Ant on defense, maybe Gary Payton JR can defend him one on one for bits of the game. Amen Thompson can for sure defend Ant one on one without a double team.
Ant seems to want to play Golden State and continue his legacy slayings, so we may as well root for home court advantage and the Warriors. But I'm confident we can beat both teams.
