After Ant and Randle have basically ignored an open Rudy all game long, Conley realizes they need to feed the man.

D-Loser25 wrote: Mon Nov 17, 2025 8:42 pm Please, someone tell me why they allow Ant to travel on that move? It’s so blatant it’s frankly an embarrassment to the league. Am I missing something here? Is that not often two (but at least one) extra steps even? I’ve been meaning to ask people about this for a while. Thanks
Which move? You mean the post-up on Max Christie?
I mean when he turns to face up and then all of sudden takes two more steps (obviously lifting his pivot foot) and they let it go. At least once or twice each game. I think most players don’t even have the nerve to try it.
They let it go because it's legal to lift your pivot foot....

Does anyone else think Ant's ability to read the floor is at another level?

Or are we only shitting on him anymore?

The Joe-Jo PnR is the most lethal of any third string combo in the league, hands down.

lol you need to watch closer. My only question is whether it’s one or two extra steps.

If Lenny miller was out there doing what Ant does, they’d call traveling every time. I’m just waiting to see some bench guy try it

Watching closer is irrelevant to the fact that it's legal to lift the pivot foot, which you indicated in your post that you seem to think that isn't the case

In the play with Ant- his off foot is away from the basket, he take a jab step with the off foot, he then pivots and takes a step towards the basket with his off foot, lifts his pivot and hits the lay up before landing with that foot again.

It was perfectly legal and another demonstration of his development with footwork and patience
