D'. maybe you didn't notice when you were at the Wizards game, but when he finally made one that day, he made a big "thank you" gesture to his bench as they were cheering joyfully for him. He brings so much hustle every night, but we're better when he's hitting his 3's.

I did notice that, but it didn't feel the same as last night. The Wizards make was almost a "finally it went in" vs last night "I knew i was due and I am going to keep hitting these" . I like when Rudy swats weak shots and causes neverminds, but you are right, he is ugly on offense and his weird complaining about getting hit in the head is tough to watch. And his shooting form...uggh.AbeVigodaLive wrote: ↑Tue Jan 06, 2026 11:10 pm Abe's Contrived Statistical DVR Review:
- The Heat shot only 12% in the paint over the final three quarters. A decent amount of that had to do with very good defense from the Wolves.
- Nobody enjoys watching Rudy Gobert play basketball. At least not really. But damn, he's really good sometimes. He's on a nice run right now. Opponents are shooting 17% against him this season.
- Good to see Donte break his 2 - 47 three-point drought.

What happened to Bam Adebayo? If you had asked me over the past couple of summers coming off of WCF losses if I'd prefer Bam for Rudy straight up, I'd probably take that trade nine out of ten times, if not all ten. But Bam was downright pedestrian against the Wolves in these last two games while Rudy controlled the paint. Rudy deserves most of the credit for this, but it also seems like Bam has fallen off a bit. Not sure I have the same view of him anymore.
