To the board: I have placed a one month ban on BeenLurkin. While I am conservative leaning, I have no problem with ideas and opinions from all sides. But I felt his behavior and opinions have gone too far.

Thanks Tim. Sports is the one place where folks from different walks of life and worldviews can come together with common cause. The various iterations of this site has done about as good a job as any at keeping things mostly sports-related, with occasional veers into the world of politics, but it's quite rare. And doing so with minimal to no moderation or formal "board rules". Pretty impressive!

I personally disagree with Cool and his belief systems but that does not mean I don’t respect him massively by as a human. That’s why America is great, we can have different opinions but at the end of the day we are American.

And isn’t this message board what America is all about, we all come from different backgrounds and have different beliefs systems but we all can come together and talk Timberwolves basketball. At the end of the day we are all humans and for the most part we are Americans and at the end of the day I love talking ball with each and every one of you and I appreciate your opinion and we make a damn good community and in my opinion that is what what makes America great

Heavyweight fight in here lol! I personally don't give a damn about anyone's political leanings here or anywhere really, and I don't expect you to give a damn about mine. Let's keep it strictly basketball, there are plenty of other social media outlets to visit if you want to politically spar.
