I thought Ayo was the better fit before Q even relented to putting him on the PG list!Phenom wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2026 9:15 pm A lot was made of the Wolves letting NAW go only to need to replace him with Ayo but I'm now thinking Ayo is a better fit with this team. The way he pressure the rim as well as the way he attacks the boards is something this team has lacked. He may very well become Ant's long-term backcourt partner
Does it really matter? Mavericks GDT

I guess I should have actually watched the Bulls a bit before declaring him a SG. He's really a combo-guard, but so are a bunch of other PGs including a lot on that list I compiled. Not many Mike Conley/Tyus Jones types out there anymore. I'm still shocked Houston didn't go after one of the Bulls or Grizzlies' plethora of guards....60WinTim wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2026 9:27 pmI thought Ayo was the better fit before Q even relented to putting him on the PG list!Phenom wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2026 9:15 pm A lot was made of the Wolves letting NAW go only to need to replace him with Ayo but I'm now thinking Ayo is a better fit with this team. HAve to wonder why any starters are still in the game. Finch has given up on games at this point when we've been on the other end of things. I thought Finch said he was going to play the rookie more down the stretch.

Yeah, Houston not picking up a ball handler seems like malpractice by their GM.Q-is-here wrote: ↑Mon Mar 30, 2026 9:31 pmI guess I should have actually watched the Bulls a bit before declaring him a SG. I hope Ayo puts together a string of great games, making it “malpractice” for Finch to take him out of the starting lineup when Jaden returns.

Took care of business against a vastly inferior team. Perfect game to re-integrate Ant. Ayo was the star tonight though. Played almost the perfect game and that might be the second time I've said that about him over the past couple of weeks. He's becoming indispensable.
Cooper Flagg looked rather pedestrian to me. Part of that was Julius and part of that is probably him just playing out the string in their meaningless remaining regular season games.

Finally caught up, more or less, and wow .. Ayo is just so much better of a player than I thought, and there's much more to him than I was aware of.
I'm excited to see if he can run point this effectively in the playoffs, but I agree with what was mentioned above Ayo does more of what this team needs than NAW did... Which is saying something.
At this point a 20M yearly average would be a bargain.
Also a quality return to the lineup from Ant. Nothing to flashy in the box score but he for seamlessly into what the team has been wanting to do lately

Amazing games by Ayo. I saw him thank his lord and savior Jesus christ in the post game interview so hopefully he doesn't get released for it.

Ayo does so much for the team, but his rebounding just might be the most impressive thing in that time. He's putting up 9.4 rebounds per game in this span starting.
