Wish I could have seen this game...Charlotte and Atlanta are both terrific stories this season. Their 3-point shooting is no surprise because they make more than any team in the league, but Jaden might have helped slow them down.

I'm pretty sure this is the first game I've actually watched him play and yeah I would agree

I really really don't understand why the young guys didn't see minutes throughout the game.

No you don't want to take it for granted that the 6th seed is locked up but you didn't need to sell out for a win here and these guys need a chance to play

Wolves are cooked

Abe's "(f)Easter Famine" DVR Review:

- The Hornets have THREE 2nd chance three pointers in the first 9+ minutes.

- Jim Pete keeps talking about Rudy being blanketed for rebounds when the Wolves have the ball... so what about when the Hornets have it. It seems like Rudy is in position for some of these rebounds and just isn't getting them. To be fair, Jim Pete did call out Diabate hooking Gobert's arm on one of them.

- Wolves 6 1st quarter TOs and those three 2nd chance three pointers... only 3 TOs and no 2nd chance threes in the 2nd quarter.

- The Wolves coaching staff noticed, too. M. Nori in the halftime interview: "If we limit our TOs and their 2nd chances... we're in good shape."

- Charlotte getting the Wolves to switch Conley onto Bridges early in the 3rd. Huge mismatch even with Conley's craftiness.

- Former teammates, Ayo and Coby White, going at it in the 3rd. That was a tough call to bail out the Hornets. Wolves down 1... White takes a 25 footer at the end of the shot clock and it looked like a clean block. Then, he misses the 3rd free throw... kickout... ANOTHER Hornets 2nd chance three pointer for a 5-point play off a bad call. Ouch. Ayo was ticked... I think in large part because of his little battle with White.

- Divincenzo and Reid aren't just missing shots. They're missing shots BADLY. Two airballs from Donte... and Reid is just a fucking headcase at this point. His are hitting the backboard before the rim. He missed a dunk. He's been awful. Injured or not, this has been an unacceptable stretch for him. I'm going to keep posting these shooting splits because it's not just a problem, it's the norm. If he's not getting buckets, he's not a good player. He's not an average player. That's his one skill... so he's been really really bad in almost every way.

Wolves come out in the 2nd half and commit 7 TOs in the 3rd quarter. AND... the Hornets hit 3 more 2nd chance three pointers. By my count, the Hornets were 6 - 10 on 2nd chance threes in this game. TEN CHANCES! Unacceptable. Wait... they had one with the scrubs in too. Make it 11.

- Hornets were 12 - 17 on threes in the 2nd half at one point. Best three point team in the league. And they did it almost entirely without Knueppel joining in the fun.

- You guys were right in this thread. Tonight's Lakers game was going to tell us a lot... and it looks like they're unable to keep it together without Reaves and Doncic. I expect James to get some rest games, too. The Wolves are going to play Denver in round 1. And I just don't see how that's going to end well.

- The Wolves have not played well for any meaningful stretch. Even when they went 8 - 2 or whatever a couple of times... A LOT of those wins were vs. teams without key players. And some were ugly wins vs. those depleted teams. Something is missing with this team...

- I know things should look a lot different with McDaniels and Edwards back, but I don't think (m)any are feeling it right now with this squad. The "others" just haven't been good enough.

- Apologies for the awkward pun in the title.

- Wolves need to win 1 more game to clinch the 6 seed. (The Suns could win out.) I assume it'll be Tuesday vs. a Pacers team trying to lose.

I am over Naz Reid. Which sucks cause in any aquiring of Giannis, we HAVE to have a big like Naz who can space the floor. But he is waaay too inconsistent. Offers nothing else if he is not scoring. Aaaaand, has become the new Ant for whining about every call or no call related to him. I am ready to move on from him.

Reid has been playing hurt for far to long. His frustration looks to be boiling over and he is venting at the refs. I feel like he is going to need surgery in the off-season, which might be here far to soon.
