In a slight Giannis twist...

Boston sends out Brown and White, receives Giannis and Kuzma
Milwaukee sends out Giannis and Kuzma, receives Brown and Randle
Minnesota sends out Randle, receives White

- No-brainer for Minnesota
- Boston gets their guy to put alongside Tatum. They had to give up a lot, but they clear a lot of future salary to make room for two players with BIG salaries (both Brown and White are under contract for 3 more years).
- Milwaukee gets a productive PF to replace Giannis and fits well with a center who can shoot in Turner.

I'll let the GMs figure out the draft compensation...

That's really the crux of it. They need a dynamic scorer and ball-handler, but giving up most of their depth is a loss proposition. It's also why I have a healthy Kyrie near the top. Fills 2 major needs and shouldn't cost much depth wise.

Yeah to me subbing Ju for mostly defensive PG doesn't do squat to really help us beat those elite defenses. Thats why I keep thinking Kyrie is the perfect fit. We need that other elite scoring option next to Ant when they ineveitably double him a lot. We haven't proven yet to win 4 on 3 when Ant is doubled. Sure his passes could and should be better out of them, quicker more on point, but still.

You want to double Ant for most the game, well then over here we got Kyrie or Giannis or Kawhi or Zion to beat you when you are scrambling in rotation.

Really the bottom line is. Make it so teams CAN'T double Ant. Then you see the best out of him and this offense. And I'm 100% sure this is why Ant wants a player like Kyrie. He's sick of being doubled, and who can blame him.

If I'm Milwaukee, this makes me almost too competitive. Brown, Randle, and Turner is a pretty damn good trio and could potentially be a playoff team in the East. The draft compensation matter that you are leaving to the GMs to figure out is no small matter from Milwaukee's perspective.

I still think Minnesota can be a Giannis player if we can find a team to take on Rudy for draft compensation (Charlotte is likely the best candidate with multiple first rounders in this year and next year's draft) that can in turn be packaged with Randle and our own 2028 and 2033 picks.

If we could get Giannis for Rudy and Randle, then sign me up! I just don’t think that’s realistic because I don’t think Rudy and Randle would generate the draft capital Milwaukee will likely require. To make it slightly closer to being realistic, I’ll suggest Rudy, Randle and our #28 pick in some sort of multi-player deal that gets us Giannis. But that still doesn’t seem realistic.

I did mean with our draft picks as well like Q suggested. Which would hurt the long term prospects, but multiple years of Giannis is worth it.

As soon as OKC comes to their senses and decides to give up either JDub or Chet along with 4-5 number 1 picks, they will have Shai, Giannis, a very deep team, and will win 2 or 3 more titles. Maybe Giannis decides he doesn't want to play in Oklahoma, but once OKC decides to play no one can compete with them for his services.

We'd probably have to include Shannon or Beringer in the deal as well, as I agree draft picks + Randle + useless salary filler from Charlotte (like Grant Williams) probably isn't enough.

The starting lineup above doesn't have a true Center, but given the overall size and length of the group as a whole I'm not sure how problematic that is.

Edit: One other thought...If I'm Milwaukee, I'd want Giannis out of the Eastern Conference. And if I'm Charlotte, I'd want Giannis out of the Eastern Conference as well, as they see themselves as an up and coming team that could break through. Wouldn't it be nice for them to shore up their paint defense with Rudy while facilitating the move of Giannis to the Western Conference so that Boston and Miami can't get their mitts on him!?

Bucks don't own their drafts going forward. So unless they get their picks back from Hawks/Blazers, tanking is pointless. Especially when you take into account the new lottery reform rules.
