Nice first half.

McDaniels was terrific and continues to look like our best player so far in preseason. You can tell he’s playing with another level of confidence on the offensive end that seems to go along with the new level of offensive freedom he appears to have been given.

Joan is going to be very very good. I’m very comfortable with him as our backup center.

LaMelo’s turnover propensity is a problem that needs to be addressed.

My favorite play of the first half was late in the 2nd quarter when LaMelo fed Rudy who immediately dished the ball over the top to Jaden for the layup. Beautiful basketball.

The give and go earlier in the half with Jaden cutting baseline after his pass to Rudy and then getting it right back for the layup was even prettier.

I think the question with Ball and his TO's is does his responsibilities and usage allow him to absorb a lot of TOs while others turn it over less, so as a team we are OK in that category and ultimately better off since he creates a lot more easier shots. We shall see.

I'll join the choir in agreeing Jaden has been our best player this preseason. As Q pointed out, Finchy is not making him guard the best player, and it helps him on the offensive end. And he's a terrific help defender too.

Classic KAT sequence: stays down after falling during a layup resulting in an open trey for Williams at the other end, and then he gets the cherry pick layup in the front court he never left!

Starters out there again to begin the 3rd. LOL, Cody Williams back in! Taking the term "token starter" to the next level.

I’m getting really irritated by LaMelo’s turnovers!

Let’s see how Beringer does against a beast like Drummond.

Drummond was teaching him lessons earlier but Drummond got handles lowkey. Drummond is poor man's Naz handling the rock.
