TheSP - That would be ideal. Cody Ford is my favorite OL in this class. He can start at RG/RT day one.
Jonah Williams looks like an LG to me and I would love to get him. Garrett Bradbury is a center only but would be great in our system. These guys will all be gone before we pick in 2nd round.
Dillard seems to be more potential than production at this point and the more I think about it the less I would draft him in first. I really think O'Neal is our LT of the future. I think Elfein would be better at RG.
Garrett Brumfield is a guy I like that will be drafted later and be a steal.
"Garrett Brumfield is an athletic bruiser that plays with a nasty mentality. Although he can be a bit aggressive running past defenders, Brumfield plays with his hair on fire and finishes with violent intentions. An intelligent leader on and off the field, Brumfield is a tough and powerful guard prospect with agile feet and excellent movement skills. He displays top-notch quickness excelling in pulling and reaching the second level quickly taking advantage of angles and displaying the athletic ability to swing his hips blocking in space. He flashes great technique, but will need consistency with hand placement and tends to be a waist bender lunging wildly at times."

I did a redraft after the Barr resigning. That really changes the draft plan and makes it much easier to fill needs.
18 Garrett Bradbury, IOL NC State - Would be our starting center and move Elfein to RG where he excelled in college. I would love to see us resign Easton as our LG. He crushed it at the combine both speed and strength.
50 Yodny Cajuste, OT West Virginia - Yodney Cajuste have a chance to start at right tackle for us as a power tackle. Scounts seem him as LT in power scheme. Cajuste has some restrictions in his pass protection, working in a scheme that offers a lot of short sets and slide protections would be ideal for his physical skill set. Cajuste has the needed length and mobility to be an effective starter elsewhere, however. Teams needing an upgrade could feasibly start Cajuste as a rookie in 2019 but NFL speed will test him initially.
81 Andy Isabella, WR UMass - Competitive, well-rounded slot target possessing both elite quickness and long speed to go with above-average play strength. Isabella has the feet and fakes to uncover in a hallway closet and the former high school sprint champion proved to Georgia that his ability to win deep should not be underestimated. Isabella wins with quickness and thrives in space. His best role would be as a slot/depth option on a team that looks to space the field and isolate their athletes one on one. Which is exactly what we need from him.
120 Isaac Nauta, TE Georgia - Backup TE and possible Rudolph replacement in down line. Runs well and plays fast. Subtle speed alterations inside his routes. Accelerates through the turn to gain space on defender. Quick to find coverage gap between linebackers and safeties. Solid blocker, but not a mauler and going to generate movement on DE/OLB.
190 Trysten Hill, IDL UCF - Project for Patterson. He was the most talented and impactful defensive lineman on the team, but concerns over his football character and maturity have hindered his standing on the team at times. Hill was a gap bandit who disrupted running games and spent time harassing quarterbacks with consistent effort and hustle.
209 Alex Bars, IOL Notre Dame - Future LG project. His stock fell because of issues staying healthy. He has the power and mobility to be a strong starter, but staying healthy moving forwards is key.
247 Will Harris, S Boston College - Coverage Safety with good speed. Can cover TE's. He's going to be drafted as a backup and he'll be solid for a couple of years and then you are going to look up and he's going to be starting for you. He's a solid football player.
250 Shareef Miller, EDGE Penn State - Last pick for us and another project DE for Patterson. Will try to get him on PS. He has speed and finesse game, but if he develops more power he could develop into a rotation DE.
Post draft we would have made good strides on OL and a slot WR. We would get depth in other areas. We would need FA or UDFA RB or LB. I would look to trade Reiff if O'Neal and Cajuste look like starting tackles. O'Neal, Easton, Bradbury, Elfein, Cajuste would be a good young OL to move forward with for the next 2 years. Elfein would be on a new contract in 2021.

I like Oliver. If he dropped to us I'd jump all over that to replace Richardson.

Our luck Devin White will drop to us.
Olliver would be hard to pass up. I don't see any stud OL in this class, but we would be thrilled with solid starters.

Having a good player like that drop to us could be good IF some other team wants to move up. Maybe we can accumulate some additional picks.

I'd consider that great luck if White dropped to us. Not the biggest need but u take top talent there. I love Oliver but there are some concerns about size and his production coming against lesser talent. White has the look of a guy u get a decades worth of production out of. That's a no brainer to me. It also means he's highly unlikely to be there. I think he's gone top ten .
A crazy thing to consider would be grabbing the rb from Alabama if he's there as well. Obviously with Cook here it's not a need but with Murray gone maybe Cook needs to be feeling some heat to produce. Look at the Saints, they found a way to find success with 2 backs. Not the first route I'd go but again if he's the most talented guy available u take him in the first round. Lineman can be had thru out the draft.

The Vikings have had a crappy line for 2 years. The only thing really holding Cook back is injuries. In 15 games he is averaging 4.7 yards a carry and has 51 receptions. He doesn't need any motivation. If we pick a RB in the first round they basically better he near HOF or something.

As much as I like the idea of adding a big power back to the mix I just can't see it this year. Have serious issues on the OL. Unless Kubiak and company can coach the guys we have up we really need 2 starters in the draft.
