I wouldn't be surprised if he had a bounce-back year. Certainly needs to be restructured or cut.

I know it's a business but damn it would be pretty hard to just cut him after all that happened last year. Griffin is a guy that the Vikings have taken care of paying him well for years. People were surprised at the amount of his first contract off his rookie deal and it ended up being a good one for both parties. I'd guess a few guys could do a restructured deal where they save the team some cap space and get some more guaranteed money in the future.

I agree cutting him is tough. I hope a restructuring is worked out. I really think he could have a bounce-back year.

You don't have to grade out very high on PFF to be above average as a guard...or center. I'm not knocking their grading just saying it's lower sometimes MUCH lower than othe positions.

Never noticed that. I think center is a position that is overlooked a lot.

Some OT discussion in draft.

DL Line

We seem to be set with starters and depth on DE even if we left Griffen go, but inside the cupboard seems pretty bare.

I was hoping for a bit more than basically a regurgitation of PFF stats. Anyway I think some other young Defensive lineman are interesting including Odenigbo, Holmes and Mata'afa. Aruna is interesting also but I think the other players mentioned have a chance to factor as pass rushing tackles. They must like that Cochran guy cause they have kept him around. I absolutely agree the interior of the line is a question mark but I thought some other young guys at least Holmes was worth mentioning.

I don't know what kind of market value Richardson will have but I agree with Coller that they shouldn't go wild paying him (regardless of what money they have or don't have to spend this offseason) he was good but certainly not awesome after the first few games.

Jalyn Holmes will be a guy to watch. He certainly has some upside. It would be great for him and Jaleel Johnson to develop into our future inside. JJ did play 261 snaps last year but has not lived up to my expectations yet.

LB

I think Barr leaves. I like Devante Downs and Eric Wilson. Kendricks needs to step up after a so-so season.

I wanted a LB early last year, but Leighton Vander Esch who I wanted went earlier to Cowboys. I have not dug into the draft to see who we should go after this year.

We are in great shape. I think we stand pat here as tempting as it is to trade someone.
