KUUUUUUUUUUUU! Kubel hits a GR double to score Mauer. Tie game. Men on 2nd and 3rd with no outs.

Always a good sign when plouffe goes the other way two opposite field hits today.

Plouffe now 3-4 on the day with 3 RBIs. Two oppo singles. Good day for him.

Kubel looks good guys. 2-4, 2 2Bs, RBI, 2 runs scored. That's encouraging.

Yeah, nice to see two clutch hits from guys we're going to need this year. Now we'll see what the bullpen can do. As bad as we were last year, being up 5-3 in the 7th would usually meant a win. Burton probably gets the 8th, and he wasn't very sharp this spring.

I think Correa might go back out there to start only at 82 pitches

Okay I disagree with that call I think that was a catch.

I hope not. Let the bullpen slam the door.

Really close call, so I'm surprised they overruled it. But it looked to me that the ball popped out of his glove before his transfer hand got to the glove, so the umps couldn't rule that the drop happened on the transfer. Turned out it didn't matter anyway, but it seemed big at the time.

Oh look. Burton gave up a homer. Twins lead down to one.
