Can KG mentor an entire bench unit on how to play defense? Because I don't think we have a single guy coming off our bench that can stop anyone. This team is going to struggle big-time on the defensive end again.

A defensive PG wasn't going to all of a sudden make the second unit defensively respectable. Guys are going to have to step up on that end regardless.

Of course not. But every little bit helps. It would be nice if KG only had to mentor 4 out of the 5 instead of all 5!

I just feel like we have a lot of offensive potential already in the mix. We need some defensive bulldogs out there now.

I just wish the Wolves would stop giving you reasons to take shots at Zach. You never seem to miss an opening.

Right now our tentative 15 man roster looks something like this:

PG Rubio Jones Brown
SG Martin Lavine Budinger
SF Wiggins Bazz Hummel
PF Towns/Dieng/KG Payne AB (Bjelica)
C Pek Towns/Dieng/KG

Am I missing anyone? What changes do you see ahead to this roster?

Philly may have wanted D-Russ, but Okafor and Noel is almost perfectly complementary. One is an emerging DPOY and the other a potential double-double machine. That just might have worked out for them.

Not a fan of the Tyus Jones trade. When is the last time the 3rd best player on his college team amounted to anything in the NBA?

Absolutely no spacing inside though

That would be a mistake. I already turned in my retirement papers, it was number one or bust.

Do you see any asset trades in Budinger or Bennett coming up?

I could see one or both being traded, but I suspect it won't happen until free agency begins.

I agree...I almost see teams like Cleveland and Lakers, Miami and Dallas all being subpar on bench, depth or youth. Perhaps these guys can make there way with assets coming back. Shot in the dark of course but maybe with the assets we have now Flip can package these options for a solid SF starter.

Rubio, Jones
Martin, Lavine
Wiggins, Bazz
Towns, KG, Payne
Pek, Dieng

Something wrong with the current SF starter?

I noticed I placed SF at this place, then edited it. I like wiggins at SG more then SF. If Martin in moved, having Wiggins at SG is ideal for me which leaves Bazz at SF. it all depends on Martin for me. Edited with No SF

Warriors get Kevon Looney, great value for them.
