Remember when Larry Nance was such a hot commodity?

Not quite sure why he didn't quite work out in Portland... but... he's a jack-of-all-trades guy who's always been a plus player.

He's set to make $10M next year, which is very reasonable.

Ingrham and McCollum seem like a very weird pair to me.

I personally don't worry about the Pelicans because I don't think Zion will ever stay healthy and most of his game is athleticism. I know posted this before but I like the Greek freak but what happens when he can't jump on the building anymore what type of player is he? It's the same way I feel about Zion

Russell Westbrook is another guy whose game hasn't aged well and a lot of us kind of saw that coming in his heyday. Just too reliant on sheer force of will and athleticism.

Having an elite shooting touch as your core strength (Durant, Curry, even Chris Paul esp. from mid-range) really really helps.

I think Giannis has turned into a very smart basketball player. He also has size and length on his side. He has transitioned from being a biggish dude with guard skills to being a legit big with guard skills. He will likely always have enough athletic ability to at least play at PF. He might not be a star later in his career but he will still be highly effective and I think he is a guy that will be willing to embrace a different role than being the guy.

I think Portland did ok in this deal. They got some younger player and saved money. Josh Hart could be a nice player for them or as an asset to move at some point. What happened to Satoransky is he injuries or what?

The idea of Talen Horton-Tucker is better than the player so far. He remains overpaid and overhyped. Still just 21-years old, though.

I think you are probably right Monster. He has the advantage of being super long and skilled as a ball-handler, so he can probably play the point-4 or point-5 type role effectively for many years to come.

I think the Kings would have been better off trading De'Aaron Fox over Tyrese Haliburton, but they're getting a legitimate All-Star here. I'm shocked.

Also, I'm surprised that there isn't any draft pick compensation involved here, at least from the early reports. Wow.

Sacramento had one player that should have been considered untouchable and it was Tyrese Haliburton. I'm stunned that they moved him. This franchise just can't get out of their own way.

I look at Haliburton how I look at LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards to some degree. A franchise cornerstone. You build around him. And the Kings moved him.
