As I expected, the national media is beginning to discuss why a guy with Love's numbers isn't attracting better offers, and they are beginning to discuss intangibles more that his porous defense. Stephen A. Smith (no, I don't like him either) is the latest...google his name and Kevin Love and you will find the video. He calls Love a locker room cancer who isn't liked by his teammates, and even says that despite the nice things being said publicly, Taylor and Flip don't like him either. This certainly doesn't help our leverage at all. I suspect that more reports like this are ahead of us, making it more important that Flip find a good deal soon.

Can anyone think of another current top ten player that is described on ESPN as a locker room cancer? Howard or Cousins maybe?

If they are offering Varejao.. they've gotta be close b/c that's someone Lebron definitely wants around. That smells like a last ditch effort to keep Wiggins by offering AV.
